Aminu is a prominent figure in the field of ethical genomics research in Africa, demonstrating a deep passion for this area of study. He has taken a leadership role in the creation of comprehensive regional guidelines and has collaborated as a co-author on numerous publications addressing various ethical aspects within genomics research on the African continent.
With over two decades of expertise in public health policy formulation, strategic planning, research governance, research ethics, and capacity building in research ethics, Aminu brings a wealth of experience to his role at Syndicate Bio. In this capacity, he provides independent guidance on approaches and initiatives aimed at ensuring fairness in the company's research partnerships while upholding the highest ethical standards throughout the execution of specific research projects.
